Moore Oil Acquires Michigan Company

Moore Oil Co., of Milwaukee, has acquired Naser Oil Co. of Powers, Mich., the companies announced Monday.

Moore Oil will continue to operate Naser’s lubrication business in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, which includes a warehouse in Wilson, Mich., while Naser will continue to run its propane business.

“Having conducted business with Naser Oil over the past 10 years, we are very familiar with the company and its service area,” said Scott Haag, CEO of Moore Oil.

Moore Oil has operations in Wisconsin, northern Michigan and northern Illinois, distributing brands that include ExxonMobil, Valvoline, Petro Canada, Cam 2 and MooreFlo. The company provides a range of automotive, on- and off-road commercial and industrial lubricants in addition to providing lines of detail/car preparation, industrial cleaners, janitorial supplies and industrial coolant products.

Moore Oil also operates an environmental services company that collects and processes waste oil, waste oil filters, used antifreeze, and many other waste stream products.
