Moore Oil Company was purchased by Scott Haag. At this time, Moore Oil was a Pennzoil distributor, home fuel oil supplier & sold rust proofing.

Purchased Hornby Chemical, a maker and distributor of automotive chemical, body shop and janitorial supplies.

Moore Oil becomes one of the largest distributors of oil lubricants in the state with a 35,000 sq.-ft. warehouse addition. Purchased Copland Color, a distributor of Dupont & Ditzler automotive paints.

Moore Oil Company became the AMOCO Master Distributor.

Purchased Protector (cellular phones, insurance, after-market installed products & rust proofing) and R.T. Miller Company Inc. (automotive paint distribution).

Sales reached 18 million. Scott Haag credits the increase to expanded product lines and employee performance.

Purchased Petro Products & L.T. Oil Company.

Purchased Merchandise Sales, Raulin Oil Company & Harrod-A Hornby (distributor).

Purchased Jacobson Barrel.

Sold off barrel company and outsourced our barrel needs.

Purchased the International Marketing company to increase our company base in automotive chemicals.

Earned ISO 9002 Certification August 5.

Sold off the paint company, cellular phones, insurance and after-market installed products. This was done to concentrate on our core business of oil lubricants and chemicals.

Purchased Dairyland Lubricants.

Became the Stocking Distributor for Exxon Mobil products. Due to market consolidations Moore Oil decided to discontinue distribution of Pennzoil and Shell products. All efforts were concentrated on distribution of the new Exxon / Mobil brand, Castrol and Valvoline products.

In January, Moore Oil completes their 6,000-sq.-ft. expansion at the facility in Plover, Wisconsin, allowing for a bulk storage capacity of 250,000 gallons. In July, Valvoline adds to Moore Oil contract to distribute their line of Lubricants in North Eastern Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Moore Oil signs contract with Petro Canada to distribute their line of Lubricants for the State of Wisconsin.

Exxon merged with Mobil to form the largest company in the world. Moore Oil is proud to be named the Master Distributor for both brands.

Mobil adds Moore Oil contract to distribute in North Eastern Wisconsin their passenger motor oil line. (January)
